The Utah Ballroom Dance Company
All of the professional dancers featured in our productions are members of the elite touring group, The Utah Ballroom Dance Company. Founded in 2010 by Mark Lowes and Marlayna Sheeran, they sought to capitalize on the surge of popularity of ballroom dance in pop culture. Thanks to the creative genius of long time company manager and technical guru Jesse Maher, they created a unique set of shows that would bring high level ballroom dancing to communities across America.
In 2011, 16 dancers that made up the Utah Ballroom Dance Company, hit the road for the first time and debuted 18 performances throughout Utah, Arizona, Oregon and Washington. Since then company has grown significantly and today performs 55+ shows throughout 13 US states and raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities annually. The UBDC features high level ballroom dancers that delight, entertain and uplift thousands of audience members each year.
